Timothy E. Verdin has dedicated over 34 years to the art and science of bells and bell instruments. His career began at The Verdin Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, where he worked alongside his father, Dave Verdin. From humble beginnings—painting, cleaning, and learning the basics—Tim grew into a craftsman and leader, eventually serving as President of the company.

Tim played a pivotal role in one of the most unique bell projects in history: the design and fabrication of the world’s only mobile bell foundry. This innovation allowed the casting of 88 bronze bells across the state of Ohio, one for each county, as part of the 2003 Ohio Bicentennial.

Beyond groundbreaking projects, Tim oversaw the development of a permanent foundry capable of casting bells up to 2,000 pounds, further expanding American bell-making capabilities. His leadership extended into manufacturing, service, and custom fabrication of bell and clock towers, glockenspiels, and carillons.

Today, as the founder of T. Verdin Legacy Bellworks, Tim continues his lifelong mission: preserving the rich heritage of historic bells and bell instruments while ensuring their beauty and sound carry forward into the future.
